The Calendar of Events is the most popular section of VisitFairfieldCounty.org. Make sure your event is listed so that it can be found by visitors.
NOTE: The Calendar only lists events with broad appeal that would interest visitors outside of Fairfield County, such as festivals, historical events, live music, visual arts, cultural programs, and events of that nature.
How do I submit an event?
Troubleshooting: Why isn’t my event showing up?
Your event will not automatically be added to the Calendar once you click "Submit Event" at the bottom of the form. It will first go through an activation process to make sure that your event submission contains all the information needed to be added. All events submitted should have event details, including venues, dates and times, confirmed before submitting it to this calendar. To allow plenty of time for promotion, we encourage you to submit your event several weeks (or months) in advance. We have the opportunity to promote the event in more channels the further in advance we receive the information. You will be notified if your event cannot be approved.
Why is my event information different from what I submitted?
Visit Fairfield County staff serve as editors of the content submitted to the Calendar. Please keep this in mind, as the content you submit may be edited for the visitor audience or changed to reflect our marketing guidelines.
